Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW company, offers industry‑leading sensors, photodiodes, infrared detectors, photonic modules, components, and LEDs. Opto Diode products are available in both standard and custom designs and have been known for high performance, superior quality, and reliability for over 30 years. Opto Diode provides advanced performance sensors from the extreme ultraviolet (UV) to the mid‑infrared (mid‑IR) range. Our products deliver unmatched detection of high‑energy particles, electrons, X‑rays, and UV radiation, as well as exceptional sensitivity for discerning trace gases or detecting heat, sparks, or flames in the mid‑IR spectrum. Other products include high‑performance LEDs with radiation emission from 365 to 940 nanometers and infrared emitters covering 1 to 10 micrometers.

Additionally, Opto Diode can customize the entire product quality system to test, qualify, and document parts, and to write procedures based on the customer’s own internal guidelines and specifications. This includes written documentation for each step, wherever necessary.

Opto Diode serves a wide variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, biotechnology, food processing, medical, military/defense, industrial, semiconductor equipment manufacturing, and test and measurement. Our manufacturing process is carried out from start to finish in a cleanroom environment. Opto Diode’s U.S. domestic facility is optimized with on‑site wafer fabrication, Class 1000 to 10,000 cleanrooms, extensive assembly capabilities, and packaging expertise. From prototyping to high‑volume production, we manufacture wafers to components, then package and assemble photonic modules into optoelectronic subsystems.
